Tunbridge Wells' Friendly Professional Social Dog Walking
About

Hi, my name is Simon Killick, in general animals have played a major part in my life, happily growing up around dogs and various other animals and creatures! Walking and caring for friends and family’s dogs and owning my own has only made my love for our four-legged friends grow and grow. I now consider myself extremely lucky to care for and socialise with dogs daily and personally feel it is something dreams are only made of!!

Along my journey from turning dreams into reality, as well as plenty of hands-on experience I have focused on gaining diplomas in Animal First Aid, Canine Communication, Pet Sitting/Dog Walking and have an introduction to becoming a dog trainer certificate and am studying towards becoming a certified dog trainer.

At Waterlily Walks I passionately believe allowing your dog to interact and socialise on a regular basis not only gives them a fun filled release from daily routine, but it is also a great way to assist development and social skills by being part of a small friendly group. And gives you the owners a well-deserved break!

WHERE WE SOCIALISE AND HOW WE TRAVEL

IMG_6884.jpg

One of my main priorities is safety and due to an incredibly sad increase in dog theft recently I am extremely lucky to have the sole use of an amazing private estate for our walks, full to the brim of wooded areas, fields, and a stunning river walk, giving our group the safety, privacy, and space to socialise without worry, we also have many other favourite safe away from it all places and spaces to enjoy our time together.

My large, ventilated, air conditioned, fully safety crated dog van is equipped with pads and blankets to ensure your dog is comfortable and safe whilst travelling, and cleaned/sanitised daily. I carry water and first aid kits; I also strongly believe in rewarding good behaviour with treats but please be assured I only give treats with your permission.

HOW WE ROLL AND WHAT NEXT?

IMG_6758.jpg

Our walks are specifically aimed at groups of no more than four dogs off the lead but can accommodate walking on a training lead (supplied) if recall requires some practice. I can offer 1 to 1 walks for those not quite ready for group walks i.e. puppies, older, nervous or reactive dogs. I have the experience to help those who need to improve on focus and recall using positive, rewarding methods, along with a caring, fun, and patient approach to make the adjustments required for group walks.

Please feel free to contact me and I will be happy to arrange a free no obligation home visit at your convenience to meet you and your dog and run through our registration process and assessment form (which I will send to you prior to meeting) and discuss any worries or training requests, and answer any other general questions,

I am also more than happy to offer a free first walk, again with no obligation.

So pleased to have found Simon!

My 5 month old dog Wesley, is a nervous puppy and suffers from separation anxiety. Simon was such a calming influence on Wesley at our first meeting which put my mind at ease.

He keeps you posted on how they are getting on during the day along with some lovely photos too. Wesley always returns home tired, relaxed and happy.

I would highly recommend Simon to take care of your dog as he’s reliable, friendly, knowledgeable and good value for money and to top it off Wesley just loves Betty .... the Boss !

Having known Simon for a number of years I have no issues in letting him walk Ralf, even though he can be a handful at times Simon has always been firm with him where required.

Despite having an abundance of energy Ralf is always tired and relaxed when he returns from a walk, he definitely enjoys having other dogs to play with and enjoys a good game of “chasey”

Simon has a calm and friendly attitude and he has the skillset to make sure the dogs are obedient and well behaved.

Simon walked our Huskie Cross Minnie for some time.  He is always kind and caring and responsive to Minnie’s needs. Minnie was out for a couple of hours each time and really enjoyed their time in the countryside.  She always arrived home ready for a big long sleep, as she was worn out!

Simon is a calm, kind and trustworthy presence and its reassuring to know I have someone taking care of my treasured dog while I’m unable to walk her myself.
I would not hesitate to recommend Simon to anyone who is looking for the best care for their dog.

Simon has the magic touch when it comes to dogs, he has a fantastic way with them and looks after them as he would his own.  I can not recommend Simon and his dog walking services enough, my pups absolutely love him!  If you are looking to find a dog walker that really cares about your dog then Simon is one of the best in the area.
